Thesis title: The professional development of secondary teachers in higher education: study in the Professional Career and Remuneration
Thesis abstract:
In an ever-changing society, all workers and employees have to develop professional skills. In the education sector and especially in higher education, professional development of teachers is necessary to complete and update their scientific, didactic and pedagogical knowledge, improve their working methods by keeping abreast of the achievements of research, to build a reflective posture, identifying their training needs … My research project aims to revisit the current forms of teacher evaluation in the light of the “Professional, Career and Remuneration” (PPCR) implemented by the university de Bourgogne, to study their effects on the professional development of teachers and to identify opportunities for support and training for both actors (evaluated and evaluator). The 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 teacher evaluation campaigns under the PPCR will be the support of my research work
