The Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications (CMQ) is a label granted by the French state to identify and unite a network of diverse stakeholders in training sectors and industries (both industrial and service sectors) with significant economic importance at the national or regional level. In this context, the CMQs offer a broad range of actions to support the development of a promising sector, maintain skills within a territory, and improve the excellence of training. However, little is still known about the evaluation of their actions.

This article presents a synthesis of the evaluation plan for the “Innovative and High-Performance Technological Industry” CMQ (CMQ-ITIP). This evaluation is carried out by the Institute for Research on Education (IREDU) at the request of the governing team of the CMQ-ITIP. It involves a descriptive analysis of the functioning of CMQ-ITIP based on quantitative data. The evaluation follows a pluralistic approach, forming a triangulation: operational team, governing team, and researcher-experts.
