Faustine Vallet-Giannini Publishes an Article in The Conversation: “High School: Persistent Divisions Between Scientists and Literary Students?”

The 2018 reform of the baccalauréat aimed to break down hierarchies between literary, economic, and scientific specializations and facilitate the transition from high school to university. Are the results on the ground meeting these expectations? Early findings from a thesis show that some divisions persist, and choices made at the end of the second year remain significant.
