The Faculty of Education and Social Sciences at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg is seeking to fill the position of a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Field of Educational Technology in the Institute of Education.

The position is available from 1 August 2016 until the end of the funding period of the FLIF project « Inquiry-based Learning and Teaching » (31 December 2020). The remuneration corresponds with public service organizations (payment group 13, 100 %, of the General Framework Agreement on Public Services in the Federal States (TVL)).

The position is suitable for part-time work.

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the goals of the FLIF project in the area of e-learning and e-science (https://www.uni-oldenburg.de/flif/).
Desired skills and experience

Candidates are expected to have an academic university degree in the field of education, social science, psychology, or a related discipline and have shown their ability to perform excellent scientific work, demonstrated by the outstanding quality of their Doctorate/PhD research and a good publication record. We are seeking candidates with prior experience in online distance education and training, social media for teaching and learning, e-science, and in the development of faculty trainings and professional development.
